We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex equipment at client sites to ensure optimal operational performance. Duties
- Conduct on-site installation of equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures and extend service life.
- Diagnose technical issues accurately and efficiently, providing effective solutions or escalating as necessary.
- Repair or replace faulty components to restore equipment functionality promptly.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
- Document service activities comprehensively, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to troubleshoot complex problems remotely when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all field activities.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, parts inventory, and technical documentation.
- Assist in the development of service reports and recommendations for system improvements.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar technical role involving equipment installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems relevant to the industry.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyse complex technical problems effectively.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Ability to work independently in diverse environments while managing time efficiently.
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel frequently for site visits.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software related to equipment servicing is preferred.
- Commitment to safety protocols and continuous learning about new technologies.
