Principal PLM Engineer
About The Role

As the technical authority and subject matter expert for the organisation's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment, you will be responsible for defining the strategic direction, architecture, governance, and continuous improvement of PLM capabilities.
Principal PLM Engineer will be based at either our Barnstaple, Bristol or Beckington sites. This role allows for flexible working.

Training end users on the PLM System
Configuring the PLM system to suit business needs
Create packages for deployment
Provide SME administration for the system
Development of business reports from within the system
Providing advice and support to help shape the future PLM roadmap
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform future PLM strategy

Theskills you need Significant experience working with enterprise PLM platforms and engineering data management solutions
Deep understanding of product lifecycle processes, configuration management, engineering change control, and product data governance
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting PLM solutions in a manufacturing, engineering, or product development environment
Strong understanding of systems integration principles and enterprise architecture
Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence stakeholders across multiple functions
Knowledge of the ARAS Innovator PLM System
Development skills using visual basic or c#
SQL
