SAP Data Migration Specialist (S/4HANA Public Cloud)

3-Month Contract from July 2025

Surrey (3-4x days per week)

£300 - £400 per day inside IR35

SystemsAccountants are currently seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Specialist to support our client’s ongoing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation. You’ll be working closely with an internal technical team already in place and coordinating with a third-party service provider handling data preparation activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP Data Migration Cockpit in the Public Cloud Edition of SAP S/4HANA with exposure across Finance, Projects, Products, and Procurement.

Role Responsibilities

• Conducting data migration activities for the functional areas appointed to
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency, performing pre-load and post-load prior to passing onto the business for validation and sign off
• Collaborate closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Manage and meet tight deadlines ensuring timely delivery of data migration tasks within the project timelines
• Document migration processes, methodologies and best practices for future reference and compliance.
• Conduct data validation and reconciliation activities post migration to confirm data integrity.
• Resolve assigned defects within each load cycle
• Monitor and troubleshoot data issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary
• Facilitate the data migration and integration efforts between SAP and the other systems being implemented.
• Ensuring data governance is followed
• Conduct data cleansing, mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience delivering data migration SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
• Experience with multi SAP S/4HANA Line-of-Business (LoB) Solutions including Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Projects.
• Ideally experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud greenfield implementations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address data migration challenges
• Experience working with agile project environments beneficial
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors migration a benefit but not requirement
• Proven experience with data modelling, data warehousing and data migration processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and convey technical information effectively
• Degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Certification in SAP is preferred.
• Candidates MUST be eligible for SC Clearance
