What you'll do:
- Engineer, maintain and improve secure VMware infrastructure across vSphere, ESXi, NSX and vSAN.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within tightly controlled environments.
- Support platform stability, performance and ongoing capability uplift.
- Work collaboratively with delivery, architecture and programme teams to ensure reliable and secure operation.
- Operate in a hybrid model requiring three days per week in Farnborough plus occasional travel to Bristol.
What you'll bring: Must-have qualifications and experience:
- Active DV clearance (essential; without this you cannot perform the role).
- Demonstrable experience as a VMware infrastructure/platform engineer.
- Hands-on capability in vSphere, ESXi, NSX and vSAN.
- Strong troubleshooting ability within secure or highly regulated environments.
- Comfort working in fast-moving, complex and occasionally ambiguous delivery settings.
- A proactive, accountable approach - someone who leads their own work, drives progress and delivers consistently.
