Sharepoint Administrator
£200 per day PAYE | SharePoint Administrator | Remote UK | Must be a UK TAX PAYER
Do you have hands-on experience using or administering SharePoint?
Are you looking for an opportunity to gain experience in a large-scale business transformation project?
Are you immediately available or available at short notice for a temporary contract?
Your Next Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate, junior systems administrator or early-career SharePoint professional to gain valuable commercial experience supporting a business undergoing significant change following a major corporate carve-out.
You'll play a key role in helping improve how important business documentation is managed and accessed, while supporting the simplification of existing SharePoint processes and workflows.
The environment is fast-paced, collaborative and focused on delivering practical outcomes. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with stakeholders, understand real business challenges and contribute to solutions that make an immediate impact.
The Role
You'll support the review, organisation and improvement of existing SharePoint environments, helping create a more effective and user-friendly document management solution.
You'll also assist with reviewing an existing SharePoint-based workflow tool, helping simplify processes, improve usability and support issue resolution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review the existing SAM setup and understand how the current SharePoint lists, views, permissions and approval flows are working
- Identify where the existing process can be improved, simplified or automated.
- Rebuild or restructure parts of the system where needed to make it easier to maintain and use.
- Remove, archive or rationalise anything that is no longer relevant to Vestacy / Reckkit products, so the system only contains current, useful and business-relevant content.
- Review existing product-related data, lists, views and processes to identify outdated or redundant items.
- Design improved approval flows and automations, ideally using Power Automate.
- Improve the front-end user experience, ideally using Power Apps where appropriate.
- Manage access and permissions to the SAM system, including how new starters should be added and what level of access they require.
- Help define a clearer permissions model so access is easier to control going forward.
- Plan out how the future solution could work and provide recommendations on the best approach.
- Consider how the system could eventually connect into Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Produce or contribute to a solution design that explains the proposed structure, process, automation, access model and any clean-up activity required.
What We're Looking For
Must-have experience:
- Degree educated or equivalent experience
- Experience using or supporting SharePoint
- Understanding of SharePoint Online, document libraries and lists
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Immediate availability or short notice availability
Desirable experience:
- Exposure to SharePoint administration
- Experience with Power Automate or other Microsoft 365 tools
- Previous internship, placement year or graduate experience involving SharePoint
- Experience supporting document management or business process improvement activities
Who Will Succeed Here
This role will suit someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and taking ownership of deliverables.
You'll be comfortable working in an environment where priorities evolve and requirements develop over time. A proactive approach, willingness to learn and ability to deliver practical solutions will be key to your success.
What You'll Gain
- Exposure to a large-scale business transformation programme
- The opportunity to work directly with business stakeholders
- Hands-on experience improving SharePoint environments and workflows
- A highly flexible remote working arrangement
- The chance to make a visible impact from day one
