We are looking for an experienced account manager who comes from a service based background. This is not a new business/business development type position. This role is working for my client who looking after a variety of technical products for 2 very large accounts.

The role blends commercial acumen with operational discipline: tracking KPIs against contractual obligations, identifying and shaping new opportunities, and presenting clear proposals aligned to customer needs.

The ideally candidate will be a degree educated individual who comes from a technical service background who is used to working with fixed contractual agreements. You will be managing the service level agreements and ensuring the company is providing everything in accordance to the accounts contract.

You need to have impeccable attention to detail, you will need to know all of the clauses within the contracts and be able to seek out information quickly where needed.

There will be travel required within this role to customer sites, so please keep this in mind when applying.

Duties include:

  • Develop and maintain longstanding customer relationships
  • Act as first point of contact
  • Conducting review meetings with customers
  • Prepare and present reports
  • Identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Escalate complex issues to teams and follow up
  • Monitor and track issues
  • Identify new opportunities within customer account
