Client Account Director

We’re looking for an experienced, commercially driven Client Account Director to join TCC Group at an exciting point in our growth journey.

This role is ideal for a confident relationship builder with a strong track record in consultative sales and key account management, particularly within Financial Services. You’ll take ownership of developing and growing client relationships, securing interim resourcing opportunities, and driving cross-sell and up-sell across the wider TCC, Momenta and Recordsure service offerings.

You’ll work closely with senior decision-makers, becoming a trusted partner and the “go-to” contact for your clients, while owning the full sales lifecycle - from account planning and pipeline management through to bid leadership, negotiation, closing and ongoing account development. With a strong commercial mindset, you’ll focus on delivering sustainable revenue growth, margin, and long-term client value.

Although the position is remote, there will be a frequest requirement to travel to London.

Job Summary

The incumbent of this post is responsible for direct client sales and key account relationship management and business development, primarily delivering interim resourcing deals, with an eye to cross sale and upsale into the other TCC / Momenta capabilities. The role supports the Chief Commercial Officer and wider sales team in delivering the business development and sales plan.

Accountabilities

  • Build account plans, sales strategy and drive activity.
  • Represent TCC in face-to-face/video conference client meetings and product demonstrations as required.
  • Prepare and manage sales pipeline, leads prospecting and sales efforts to pursue new business.
  • Track, develop and win individual opportunities.
  • Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and client queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Map clients and prospects to ensure contacts and pipeline information is up to date.
  • Keep clear and precise records via company CRM.
  • Be involved in all aspects of account management including senior level relationship management, presentations, product demonstrations (as necessary), contract negotiation, sales closing, project setup and delivery.
  • Drive networking and opportunity generating from specific existing and target clients.
  • Represent all of TCC’s service offerings (including Recordsure) – make sure no stone has been unturned and play in the relevant SMEs at the right time.
  • Key senior stakeholder relationship management – “walk the halls” and become the go to contact for TCC.
  • Work with other relevant internal stakeholders to drive opportunities through the bid process and into delivery – this includes client pitches and presentations.
  • Continue to monitor and support throughout engagements, with a keen eye on expanding the opportunity and any associated business.
  • Bring commercial acumen to the accounts and bid process – focus on Margin and recurring revenues.
  • Develop relationships with decision-influencing, senior executives within prospect organisations.
  • Analyse and understand customer insights and market trends; adapt, communicate and evolve strategies based on these changes.
  • Travel to customer sites to conduct sales activities as required.
  • Be aware of industry trends, drivers, and regulatory initiatives. Understand competitive offerings and their differentiators in the market.
  • Own and run a full sales cycle to secure immediate and recurring revenue streams.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree within business preferred

Skills

  • Display professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion when handling matters of confidential nature
  • Ideally, have a background working within the Financial Services compliance and risk/remediation sector, combined with the ability to operate in an entrepreneurial high-growth culture
  • Be able to conceptualise and communicate value propositions that deliver a compelling message
  • Strong commercial awareness, excellent client facing and interpersonal skills
  • Disciplined in either or both consultative (more important) and/or challenger sales processes
  • Ability to work independently, self-start and drive results with commitment
  • Savvy with financial models and business case preparation
  • Teamwork and collaboration. Ability to organise, prioritise, and multi-task

Experience & Knowledge

  • Strong sales ability with a proven record of achieving / exceeding annual target
  • Strong network within financial services across Wealth, Retail, Life & Pensions and Banking at a senior level
  • Experience selling to Financial Institutions and selling to C-suite
