IT Support Engineer
🔧 Role: IT Support Engineer (Backfill Support)
📍 Location: Manchester-UK
📅 Support Duration: On 15th May 2026
👨 Resource Requirement: 1 Backfill Engineer
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripherals, and software/applications
- Work with OEM vendors for spare replacement, hardware repairs, and troubleshooting
- Provide EUC (End User Computing) support
- Manage IT inventory and assets
- Perform imaging of laptops and desktops
- Printer installation and management
- Support conference room issues and vendor coordination for setup
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services for IT assets
- Support mobile devices and non-PC equipment such as scanners and printers
- Provide VIP support with high-touch service
- Manage AV / conferencing technologies
- Install and manage network/shared printers
- Provide Office 365 support
- Handle compliance software installation and troubleshooting
- Maintain strong communication with users and stakeholders
- Good knowledge of DHCP and DNS
- Coordinate vendor support and assist with procurement
- Support macOS devices
- Adhere strictly to Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Support meetings, events, and after-hours activities when required
- Document incidents, problems, and resolutions for future reference

- L1 level network troubleshooting for LAN connectivity
- Hands & Feet support to backend teams for Network / Server / Application issues
- Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues
- Labelling racks and devices
- Server mounting / movement
- Hands & Feet support for Data Center environments (Compute, Storage, Backup, Network)
- Physical support for servers, network devices, and storage equipment
- Device reboot, console connection, cable/SFP removal & insertion, cable replacement
- Racking / stacking activities
