IT Support Technician
  • Coventry, with ocassional travel to North East

  • Permanent Full-time, onsite working

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot IT issues with staff and guests (in-person and remote).

  • Record and manage support requests using a ticket system.

  • Repair and maintain hardware/software; install software and provide user guidance.

  • Maintain IT-related stock: cables, routers, adapters, etc.

  • Opportunity to support infrastructure, including server/network configuration, depending on experience.

Required Skills & Knowledge
  • Logical problem-solving; methodical issue resolution.

  • Windows 11 OS experience.

  • Office 365 apps: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI.

  • Physical repair of desktops and laptops.

  • Command line experience (PowerShell, Command Prompt).

  • Core IT fundamentals: OSI model, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, cloud computing, AI

  • Car & Driving license for ocassional travel to NE 
Desirable Skills
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure or hybrid solutions.

  • VMware/Hyper-V hypervisors.

  • Active Directory and Windows Domain experience.

  • Windows Server (2016/2019/2025) exposure.

Education & Certifications
  • IT-related degree, diploma, or vendor-specific courses preferred.

  • CompTIA A+ beneficial.

  • 0–2 years relevant experience.

  • Any Microsoft certifications.
