Salesforce Developer – £50,000–£70,000 DOE Hybrid – Berkshire or Buckinghamshire

Our client, a specialist Salesforce consultancy with a growing portfolio of financial services customers, is seeking a talented developer to join their expanding team.

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and optimising Salesforce solutions for a range of financial services clients. This is a hands-on development position where you will translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and best-practice Salesforce functionality.

Working within a highly skilled technical team, you’ll contribute to complex implementations, integrations, and custom development, while helping clients maximise the value of their Salesforce investment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customise, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other platform tools.
• Translate business requirements into high-quality, scalable technical solutions.
• Work on end-to-end project delivery, including integrations with external systems.
• Support solution design, technical documentation, and code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with clients in the financial services sector, ensuring solutions meet regulatory, security, and operational needs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and Salesforce best practices.

Experience & Skills Required

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, ideally within a consultancy or multi-project environment.
• Financial services sector experience is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and integration techniques.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration, data modelling, and security best practices.
• Ability to engage confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, etc.) are highly beneficial.
