Technical Account Manager (SC Cleared)
About the Role
We are seeking a Security Cleared Technical Account Manager to join our growing defense technology team. This role will act as the technical go-to person for our clients, ensuring the successful delivery of collaboration, Microsoft, and AV solutions within highly secure environments. You will bridge the gap between technical delivery and account management, driving customer satisfaction, identifying new opportunities, and shaping technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned accounts, ensuring smooth delivery of services and solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with clients by understanding their operational needs and advising on best-fit solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end technical engagement, from scoping through delivery to post-implementation support.
- Identify and develop new opportunities within accounts, working closely with sales to grow revenue.
- Provide basic AV and collaboration design expertise, supporting solution architecture and implementation discussions.
- Lead on technical strategy development for client accounts, aligning delivery to long-term objectives.
- Ensure service excellence and act as an escalation point for technical queries and issues.
- Active SC Clearance is essential.
- Strong background in Microsoft collaboration technologies (Teams, SharePoint, M365, etc.).
- Proven experience in service-oriented technical account management or customer success roles.
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business value.
- Experience with basic AV design and deployment considerations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and pursue sales and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
