Strategic Account Manager

Transport Exchange Group (TEG) is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to play a pivotal role in strengthening key client relationships and driving the growth of our Enterprise offering. The Role:

The Strategic Account Manager will build, nurture, and grow relationships with some of TEG’s most significant clients. Through deep understanding of customer needs, commercial opportunity identification, strategic planning, and effective stakeholder management, you will drive platform adoption and revenue growth across our Enterprise portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Account Growth & Relationship Management

  • Manage and expand TEG’s strategic account portfolio, developing long-term trusted relationships.
  • Create strategic account plans that drive growth, retention, and increased platform usage.
  • Maintain regular and meaningful communication with key stakeholders across each strategic account.

Customer Insight & Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product and Marketing teams to provide insight into customer needs and influence product development.
  • Recommend solutions and new ideas that deliver value and enhance customer outcomes.

Business Development & Prospecting

  • Identify and approach new strategic customer opportunities through calls, email outreach, LinkedIn engagement, and coordinated marketing campaigns.
  • Nurture opportunities thoughtfully, progressing them from interest to qualified conversations to successful close.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports summarising account activity, revenue growth, platform usage trends, and pipeline opportunities.
  • Present account performance updates and strategic recommendations to the Head of Enterprise

Skills and Experience Required:

Essential

  • Proven track record selling into enterprise environments and managing high-value accounts.
  • Strong relationship builder with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience conducting SaaS product demonstrations and consultative discovery conversations.
  • Skilled in strategic account planning and leading business performance reviews.
  • Results-oriented mindset, demonstrating proactive ownership and accountability.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with SPIN selling methodology and LAMP account management principles.
  • Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured commercial approach.
  • Self-starter who thrives in dynamic and growing environments.

The base salary for this role is £48,000.

Working Conditions:
