Job Description

We are seeking 2 x Security Operations Centre Analysts to join our Edinburgh based clients SOC for a short term 6 week piece of work. This role is perfect for someone looking to get some short term work in before the end of the year or whilst searching for a longer term role. This will also be an onsite role, meaning you must attend the Edinburgh office Monday-Friday/on shift days. There is a 24x7 based role and a core daytime 9-5 role available.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse security alerts and incidents within the Security Operations Centre.
• Perform regular assessments of security measures and implement necessary changes.
• Collaborate with other security professionals to maintain high standards of security operations.
• Work within a shift system to ensure 24/7 coverage of security operations.

Essential Skills

• Prior experience in Security Operations and SOC.
• Ability to work in the Edinburgh office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• experience using Splunk
