As a key technical specialist, you'll take ownership of designing a scalable DDI environment and driving a seamless IPAM migration with minimal disruption to the business. You'll work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver a robust, future-ready solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a scalable, resilient DDI environment aligned to business and technical requirements.
  • Lead the end-to-end migration of IPAM data from existing platforms to a new solution, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and zero downtime.
  • Develop automated processes to extract, transform, and load DNS, DHCP, and IP data using APIs and Scripting tools.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on migration strategies, architecture design, and best practice integration approaches.
  • Oversee delivery from inception to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timelines and objectives are met.
  • Produce clear, detailed documentation and deliver training to teams responsible for ongoing support of the new environment.
  • Support and stabilise the environment post-migration, ensuring performance, reliability, and operational readiness.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong Experience working with DDI platforms such as Cygna VitalQIP, Infoblox, Efficient IP, F5 GTM/BIG-IP DNS, or similar.
  • Hands-on Experience using VitalQIP APIs and other DDI/IPAM APIs, with the ability to script and automate migration tasks.
  • Proven track record of delivering DDI design and IPAM migration projects within enterprise environments.
  • In-depth understanding of Active Directory and its integration with DNS, including domain services and authentication.
  • Proficiency in Scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Shell, SQL, YAML, or JavaScript, alongside Experience in Linux and SQL-based environments.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Skilled in producing technical documentation and delivering effective knowledge transfer sessions.
