GCP Technical Lead (London Area)
GCP Technical Lead will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of GCP-based solutions. This position requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure management, and application development using Google Cloud technologies. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of GCP-based solutions.
- Collaborate with cross function teams to define cloud architecture and infrastructure requirements.
- Ensure best practices in cloud security, compliance, and governance.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of GCP deployments.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and automation using tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest GCP features and advancements to leverage new technologies.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Document technical designs, procedures, and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering.
- Proven experience in GCP product / technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, design and implement solutions to complex business requirements.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Previous experience working on large App / Data migrations engagements.

- GCP Foundation - VPC, Networking, Routing, Org Policies, IAM, Storage, Compute

- GCP – Networking, Security tool / Best Practices
- Observability - Operations suite, Logging, Monitoring, Alerting.

- Good understanding of Linux OS.

- Hands-on experience with DevOps Principles and Tools.

- Hands-on with Kubectl cli, Helm, Nginx Ingress, Istio
