Implementation Manager
Location: Sheffield/Birmingham: Hybrid
Contract: 6-12 months
We're looking for an experienced Implementation Manager to support a major Mainframe product migration programme. This role will take ownership of the end-to-end implementation and cutover process, ensuring a controlled and successful transition into production.
Key Responsibilities- Own and manage the implementation, deployment and cutover plan
- Develop detailed cutover runbooks, rollback and contingency plans
- Coordinate change, release and production activities
- Lead dress rehearsals, go/no-go decisions and implementation readiness
- Manage risks, dependencies and stakeholder sign-offs
- Coordinate technology, operations, business and third-party teams
- Support hypercare, stabilisation and handover into BAU
- Strong Experience as an Implementation Manager, Cutover Manager, Deployment Manager or Migration Manager
- Proven Experience delivering large-scale Mainframe or Legacy system migrations
- Good understanding of z/OS/Mainframe environments
- Exposure to technologies such as JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS, Control-M or CA-7
- Strong change, release and deployment management Experience
- Experience working within complex, highly regulated environments
- Excellent stakeholder and programme coordination skills
