Kapiti/Equation Support Analyst - 12 month FTC - 3 Days in London/2 Days WFH
Job Purpose:
Responsible for providing business and technology support for core applications.
Key Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities:- Provide technical support for production applications (eg, Kapiti/GMM/OFAC).
- Ensure application availability, reliability, and stability.
- Own and resolve production issues promptly using appropriate methodologies.
- Liaise with users, internal tech teams, and vendors to resolve issues.
- Maintain support documentation and operations manuals, including disaster recovery (DR).
- Adhere to change management and compliance procedures.
- Participate in after-hours on-call support and reduce repeat issues.
- Assist with capacity planning and new software deployments.
- Ensure DR/BCP procedures are implemented and validated.
- Manage system maintenance and proactively handle incidents (eg, via ServiceNOW).
- Identify opportunities for automation and system improvements.
- Ensure smooth transition of projects into support with proper handover and documentation.
- Promote knowledge sharing across applications.
- Manage vendor relationships and escalate issues as needed.
- Collaborate with the Service Desk on reporting and monitoring.
- Conduct service review meetings with stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Keep personal training records up to date.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support professional development and teamwork across departments.
- Ensuring high availability of production systems.
- Proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Driving continuous improvement and quality.
- Adapting to change and leveraging support functions effectively.
- 5+ years in technology roles.
- Strong customer focus.
- Deep understanding of financial services (preferred).
- Expertise in Kapiti and AS400 systems.
