Job Title: Network Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Network Designer to support our telecommunications client and their high-profile end customer. The ideal candidate will possess robust design skills in LAN and WAN technologies, with a particular focus on Meraki. You will be responsible for creating both High Level Designs (HLD) and Low Level Designs (LLD) tailored to the requirements of the current Meraki estate.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide technical authority for customer MPN Delivery.
  • Act as the technical lead and actively participate in the delivery of MPN.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues during testing across various environments.
  • Collaborate with relevant internal and external parties as needed.
  • Travel to customer sites for meetings as necessary.
  • Produce comprehensive migration documentation.

Essential Skills

  • Strong ability to generate quality documentation.
  • Excellent knowledge of delivering network designs, including IP-VPN, Cloud connectivity, and Mobile Connectivity Solutions.
  • Extensive expertise in LAN and WIFI technologies.
  • Proficient understanding of TCP/IP and routing.
  • Demonstrated experience in Cisco, Meraki, and solutions architecture.

Work Environment

Work one day a week onsite in either Suffolk or London. Engage in a collaborative environment with opportunities to interact with stakeholders and travel for meetings. Dress code is business casual.
