Overview

We are seeking an SC-cleared specialist with strong experience in designing and securing enterprise-grade directory and identity infrastructures. The role focuses on creating robust architectures, strengthening security controls, and ensuring smooth integration with wider identity, access management, and privileged access systems. You will contribute to shaping secure operational models within highly restricted environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead technical design workshops to define directory services configuration, structure, and security requirements.
• Produce detailed high-level architecture documentation, covering resilience, integration points, operational workflows, and security principles.
• Build and validate proof-of-concept environments to confirm the viability of proposed designs.
• Provide expert guidance on directory hardening, tiered access models, and secure administration frameworks.

Core Skills & experience

• Extensive background in directory services architecture, including deep experience with hardening, access security, and identity governance.
• Strong understanding of tiered administrative models and secure configuration of policy-based access controls.
• experience integrating directory platforms with identity & access management (IdAM) solutions, Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes, and privileged access frameworks.
• Proven track record producing high-level design documents and delivering PoC-based validation work.
• experience operating within restricted or high-security infrastructure environments, particularly those aligned with UK Critical National Infrastructure (CNI).
