Technical Resilience Specialist
Job Description
The Technical Resilience Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing the organization's resilience posture, focusing primarily on AWS cloud environments. This role combines hands-on technical analysis, project management, and business support to ensure that systems are robust, compliant, and recoverable.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies and solutions, ensuring alignment with business continuity and compliance requirements.
- Design and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient applications on AWS, leveraging core AWS services.
- Knowledge in CI/CD pipelines and using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions to support automated and reliable deployments.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of AWS reliability concepts to ensure high availability and fault tolerance across cloud environments.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
Essential Skills
- Experience in technical resilience, disaster recovery, or related roles.
- Good expertise with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and provide clear guidance to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with resilience testing, incident response, and compliance reporting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- AWS certification.
- Familiarity with ISO27001, NIST, or other resilience/security frameworks.
