Role Overview
The Infrastructure BIM Technician will work within a team of structured cabling and infrastructure specialists on medium to large-scale projects.
Key responsibilities include attending technical meetings, producing and updating design drawings and documentation, and reviewing designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend meetings with clients and project teams
- Produce and update infrastructure designs using BIM/Revit and CAD software
- Review and validate technical designs
- Ensure work is delivered in line with industry standards and best practices
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Revit and CAD/BIM tools
- Background in structured cabling and physical IT infrastructure design
- Understanding of systems such as networks, wireless, security, AV, and smart building technologies is beneficial
- Competent with Microsoft Office tools and general IT systems
- Awareness of telecom standards is advantageous
- Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and work both independently and within a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
