Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning and validation activities across large-scale data centre projects. This role is critical in ensuring that all systems and equipment are installed, tested, and handed over in full compliance with project requirements, client expectations, and industry standards.

The successful candidate will coordinate commissioning activities across multiple stakeholders, managing schedules, documentation, and technical deliverables to ensure seamless integration of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, and manage the end-to-end commissioning process for mission-critical data centre projects.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules aligned with project requirements.
  • Oversee and coordinate the commissioning activities of subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure all systems are tested, validated, and documented in line with client specifications and international standards.
  • Manage commissioning progress reporting, including tracking milestones, issue resolution, and risk management.
  • Collaborate closely with design, construction, and project management teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Verify and sign off testing and inspection reports, ensuring quality and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement of commissioning processes and handover standards.
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients during commissioning phases, ensuring high levels of communication and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven track record as a Commissioning Manager within data centre or mission-critical environments.
  • Strong technical expertise across electrical, mechanical, BMS, and control systems.
  • Excellent understanding of commissioning standards, procedures, and health & safety requirements.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors on complex projects.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate commissioning teams under tight deadlines.
  • Relevant engineering qualification (electrical/mechanical) preferred.
