Project Manager – Network Cabling (Data Centre / IT Infrastructure)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver network cabling projects within dynamic environments, including data centres. You will own projects from start to finish, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and with a strong focus on customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret client-supplied design documents (SoW, cable cutsheets, drawings, etc.) and conduct onsite surveys to determine project requirements, materials, and resources.
• Prepare and review quotations prior to client submission.
• Manage assigned projects end-to-end, ensuring clear communication with clients and stakeholders throughout.
• Control project scope, manage change, and escalate issues as needed.
• Monitor project progress, performance, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate technical cabling engineers, 3rd party contractors, and client representatives.
• Lead onsite installation teams and ensure alignment of materials and resources with the wider operations team.
• Compile project documentation and deliverables within agreed timescales.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and completion of all required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering network cabling projects, ideally within data centre environments.
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle and formal project management methodologies.
• Experience with project planning, risk management, and commercial oversight.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High IT literacy (MS Office).
• Flexible approach to working hours and locations.
• Full UK driving licence.

Enhanced Requirements:

• Industry-recognised experience or training in network cabling technologies and test equipment.
• Project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, ITIL, PMP).
• Health & safety qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, IOSH Managing Safely).
• CSCS/ECS card.
