  • Work closely with commercial, delivery, and client-facing teams to ensure fully integrated and competitive responses to client requirements.
  • Support strategic account planning, including pricing approaches and solution positioning for key clients.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients, consultants, and delivery partners, representing the business in meetings, workshops, and presentations.
  • Oversee pre-contract activities, including design validation and risk mitigation processes.
  • Support live projects by managing design updates, variations, and change control processes in line with contractual obligations.
  • Review and validate cost models, material schedules, and associated documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure production of detailed technical documentation such as layouts, schematics, and infrastructure drawings in line with industry standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies, standards, and best practices within structured cabling and data centre environments.
  • Conduct peer reviews to ensure quality assurance and reduce delivery risk, while also supporting the development of junior team members.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to colleagues, contributing to overall team capability and performance.

Candidate Profile

  • Significant experience within telecommunications infrastructure and ICT design.
  • Strong background in structured cabling solutions within enterprise and/or data centre environments.

  • Confident communicator with the ability to present technical solutions clearly to a range of stakeholders.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work across several concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce detailed and accurate design documentation.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience contributing to bids and cost planning activities.
