Sales Manager – Managed Service Provider (MSP) Home Counties

Salary: £70,000 – £85,000 basic + OTE £120,000 – £140,000

Location: UK (Hybrid – flexible with occasional office/travel)

We are seeking a commercially astute, high-energy Sales Manager to drive new business, scale recurring revenue and lead a high-performing sales team in Managed IT Services, cloud solutions (M365/Azure), cybersecurity and technology resale.

This senior leadership role offers genuine autonomy, strategic influence and significant earning potential for a proven MSP sales leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a high-impact sales strategy focused on MSP contracts, recurring services and IT resale
  • Recruit, coach and scale a results-driven sales team with ambitious revenue targets and KPIs
  • Own new business acquisition across mid-market and enterprise accounts
  • Lead complex deal negotiations and build strong C-level client relationships
  • Maximise vendor incentives, rebates and partner programmes (Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, HP etc.)
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams for smooth handovers and strategic upsell
  • Drive significant growth in recurring revenue, margin improvement and disciplined pipeline management

Essential Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years in senior sales leadership or management within an MSP or IT reseller
  • Proven success selling Managed Services, Cloud (M365/Azure), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure solutions
  • Track record leading sales teams to multi-million-pound revenue targets
  • Strong commercial acumen – deep understanding of margins, recurring models, vendor channels and rebates
  • Natural hunter with excellent negotiation, closing and C-level engagement skills
  • Disciplined CRM/pipeline management + high resilience and energy
  • Desirable: Established vendor relationships, MSP scaling experience, UK mid-market/SME knowledge
