IT Support Technician Apprentice
Bedford Modern School is seeking a motivated IT Support Technician (Apprentice) to join our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience while completing an Information Communication Technician Apprenticeship.
Role
In this role, you will provide first-line technical support to staff and students, assisting with hardware, software, and network issues, as well as helping to install and maintain IT equipment.
You will also support the secure and efficient operation of the school’s IT systems, maintain accurate records, and develop your technical knowledge within a supportive environment.
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in IT, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude towards learning and professional development.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues while building the skills required for a career in IT.
Training
You'll spend one day per week at Milton Keynes College as part of the Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship.
Successful completion of this apprenticeship can lead to progression into a full-time IT support or network technician role, with opportunities for further training and career development.
