As an administrator, you will develop valuable administrative, customer service, and business operations skills while supporting the Order Management team. You will assist in the processing of customer orders from receipt through to delivery, working closely with colleagues across sales, production, logistics, and customer service.

As an Apprentice Order Management Coordinator, you will develop valuable administrative, customer service, and business operations skills while supporting the Order Management team. You will assist in the processing of customer orders from receipt through to delivery, working closely with colleagues across sales, production, logistics, and customer service.

This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced business environment while learning how customer orders are managed, tracked, and delivered to ensure a positive customer experience.


What You Will Do

  • Assist with the processing and administration of customer orders within the ERP system.
  • Support the Order Management team with maintaining accurate customer and order records.
  • Learn how to create, update, and manage sales orders from receipt to completion.
  • Monitor order progress and assist with tracking delivery schedules.
  • Help maintain customer documentation, including order confirmations and delivery information.
  • Respond to customer enquiries via email and telephone under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Assist with updating spreadsheets, reports, and business records using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Assist with document control related activities.
  • Liaise with internal departments to help ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Support the team in identifying and resolving order-related issues.
  • Develop an understanding of company procedures, quality standards, and customer service best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities aimed at enhancing the customer experience.
