Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare Customer Consulting Director (Hiring Immediately)

The Role

As part of the Customer & Operations Advisory team in the UK, this role within the IGH sector involves:

1. Business development: leading activity, developing proposals, marketing in the public sector, and maintaining relationships internally and with clients.
2. Engagement delivery: leading large, complex transformation programs, managing digital solutions, and ensuring quality of deliverables.
3. People development: leading multidisciplinary teams, mentoring, coaching, and skills transfer.
4. Practice development: developing skills in Customer and digital consulting to scale the business.
5. Risk management: identifying and managing project risks, ensuring frameworks are followed.

The role is flexible in location with travel required. KPMG supports hybrid working models.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have experience in selling and delivering professional services, especially in transformation consulting within organizations like System Integrators, Big 4, digital agencies, or boutique providers. They should operate at a senior level with skills including:

• Building relationships with leadership (COOs, CMOs, Service Leaders, Chief Customer Officers)
• Discussing topics like digital transformation, customer experience, organizational change, and service excellence
• Leading large, multidisciplinary teams
• Coaching and developing team members
• Thought leadership and market viewpoints
• Sales experience with a target of approximately £1.5m revenue per year

Technical expertise should include:

• Deep knowledge in areas like Digital Transformation, Customer Experience, CRM, and Customer-Centric Operating Models
• Industry experience in sectors such as Infrastructure, Transport, Government, Healthcare, or Higher Education
• Interest in Customer Engagement technologies like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience in large-scale transformation design and delivery
• Skills in multi-channel customer journey design, Agile methodologies, process re-engineering, and digital innovation
