Business Analyst

Business Analyst

Up to £80,000 + Benefits | 2-Year Fixed Term Contract

South Bank, London (Hybrid, 4 days onsite / 1 day remote)

We are partnering with a large, multi-site transport organisation operating across the UK and internationally. With thousands of employees and a significant frontline workforce, the business is undertaking a major transformation programme to standardise processes, systems and governance across its operating companies.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to play a key role on a high-profile workforce scheduling programme. Initially focused on the implementation and rollout of a workforce management solution across multiple operating businesses, the role will sit at the heart of a complex transformation, helping to bridge the gap between operational teams, project delivery and technology partners.

Working alongside a Project Manager and as part of a collaborative Business Analysis team, you will be responsible for understanding business processes, gathering and challenging requirements, reconciling competing priorities, and ensuring solutions deliver value across diverse stakeholder groups.

We are looking for:

  • Comfortable working in ambiguity, with experience operating in environments where governance, processes and standards are still being established
  • Strong experience reconciling competing business priorities and facilitating agreement between stakeholders with differing objectives
  • Confident challenging resistant stakeholders and influencing decision-making to drive positive outcomes for the programme
  • Experience delivering business analysis activities across multi-site or multi-business rollouts within complex organisations
  • A strong understanding of frontline workforces and the operational challenges they face
  • Experience working collaboratively within a Business Analysis community, partnering with other BAs to share standards, knowledge and best practice
  • A delivery-focused mindset, with a hands-on approach and willingness to get into the detail when required
  • Experience within transport, travel, hospitality, logistics or retail environments

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • Experience with workforce scheduling solutions such as HASTUS or similar workforce management platforms
  • Experience supporting large-scale system implementations and phased deployment approaches
  • Experience working alongside system integrators, technology partners and third-party vendors
  • Exposure to waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Knowledge of workforce planning, rostering or scheduling processes

To apply, please submit your CV. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 5 business days.
