Communications Manager
Transformation Communications Manager (FTC)
Location: London
Contract: Fixed‐term until June 2027
The Role
We’re looking for a hands‐on Transformation Communications Manager to support a major business and technology transformation programme. This is a delivery‐focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys being embedded in a fast‐moving programme environment and taking ownership of communications end‐to‐end.
You’ll play a key role in enabling the successful adoption of new enterprise systems, including a significant Oracle Fusion upgrade and Workday optimisation, working closely with change, technology and business teams. This is not a purely strategic or BAU communications role - it’s about making things happen, producing high‐quality content and ensuring messages land with the right audiences at the right time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering transformation communications to support major system and process change
- Creating clear, engaging content across multiple formats (announcements, FAQs, toolkits, intranet updates, leadership packs, etc.)
- Developing and executing communications plans for Oracle and Workday initiatives
- Segmenting audiences and tailoring messaging to different stakeholder groups
- Working closely with Change Managers to align comms with adoption and readiness activity
- Partnering with programme and subject‐matter experts to translate complex change into simple, actionable messages
- Using BAU communications channels and templates while owning transformation‐specific content
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Proven experience delivering communications for a technology or business transformation programme
- Strong, hands‐on content creation skills
- Experience supporting system implementations or optimisations (ERP, finance or HR systems)
- A practical, delivery‐oriented mindset - comfortable rolling your sleeves up
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and confidence working across business and technology teams
- Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in either London or Sunderland
Desirable
- Experience working on Oracle, Workday, or similar enterprise systems
- Background in head‐office or corporate systems transformation environments
