We are working with a large retailer on the recruitment of a senior Delivery Leader. This role is fully focused on credit solutions delivery, continuous improvement, technical alignment, and ensuring high‐quality releases in a fast‐moving environment.

The position involves leading end‐to‐end delivery across complex, multi‐system architectures, where precision, planning, and stakeholder alignment are essential. The work is hands‐on, deeply technical, and operates within a regulated products landscape.

Role Overview

  • Lead the delivery of credit-related technology initiatives, ensuring each release is technically feasible, architecturally aligned, and executed without delay.
  • Drive continuous improvement, maintaining momentum and managing constant change.
  • Translate product and business requirements into clear technical flows, API integrations, and system sequencing.
  • Maintain strong oversight of design assurance, dependencies, and technical readiness across all workstreams.
  • Coordinate delivery across engineering, architecture, commercial, operations, credit teams, risk, compliance, and multiple external suppliers.
  • Operate as a key technical partner, able to understand complex architecture while remaining personable and collaborative with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Work within an enterprise and regulated environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and stability in all technical delivery.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering and implementing credit solutions within complex organisations.
  • Strong exposure to regulated products and associated governance, compliance, and operational processes.
  • Hands‐on technical delivery experience, with the ability to understand and challenge architecture, integrations, flows, and API-level decisions.
  • Experience operating within large-scale, multi‐system, enterprise architectures.
  • Ability to build detailed delivery plans, not just manage workflow - including sequencing, risk forecasting, design assurance, and dependencies.
  • Skilled at engaging and influencing senior business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working within environments that deliver continuous change and frequent releases.
