Product Owner – MarTech / Digital Experience
3-month contract (potential for extension) | Up to £410/day (umbrella) | Hampshire (c.2 days/week, some flexibility)
We’re supporting a large organisation undergoing a significant MarTech transformation and are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join at a critical stage of delivery.
The business is in the final phase of a major platform implementation and now requires a hands-on Product Owner to help drive delivery, bring structure to ways of working, and support a complex UAT phase.
The Role
You’ll work as part of a wider delivery team alongside a Delivery Lead, Programme Manager and Senior BA, supporting the successful delivery of key customer journey use cases.
You’ll collaborate closely with development teams, testers and third-party partners to ensure delivery remains on track.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and managing the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritisation
- Refining user stories and acceptance criteria with a strong focus on quality
- Working closely with development teams within agile sprint cycles
- Supporting UAT coordination across a mix of internal and external test resources
- Driving delivery of key customer journey use cases (e.g. abandoned basket)
- Helping bring clarity to documentation and improve delivery processes
- Actively contributing to stand-ups and delivery forums
What We’re Looking For
- Strong, hands-on Product Owner experience (able to deliver from day one)
- Experience working in MarTech, digital experience, or customer data environments
- Understanding of web/mobile customer journeys, personalisation, or behavioural data
- Experience working closely with development teams in agile environments
- Strong backlog management and stakeholder communication skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, complex delivery environments
Desirable:
- Experience with Adobe products (e.g. AEP, Target, AEM) or similar platforms
- Exposure to personalisation or recommendation engines
- Experience in data-led or customer journey-focused products
