IT Support Analyst Apprentice
As an IT Apprentice you will be joining our Service Desk team, who are responsible for answering calls and emails from our clients. You will be using the IT knowledge that you will gain at college, on the job, and through our internal training programme.
Role
- As an IT Apprentice, you will be joining our Service Desk Team, who are responsible for answering calls and emails from our clients
- You’ll sit with experienced members of the team who will give you tasks to do and teach you about our clients' systems, and how to resolve their IT problems
- During your apprenticeship you will be answering the phone and eventually resolving issues yourself
While in the role you will gain exposure to:
- Active Directory
- Microsoft Exchange & 365
- Microsoft Servers
- Cloud Systems
- Virtualisation (VMware, vSphere, HyperV)
- Office Operation Systems
Training
You’ll be trained by our internal trainer, and within 15 months, hopefully gain a Level 3 qualification as an Information Communications Technician & addtional Compita certifications. Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment.
Our goal is to give you the training you need to earn a place on our service desk team. Converstaions for future opportunities to expand into different departments can be discussed in yearly reviews.
