User Interface Engineer
We're working with a global financial trading company building portfolio trading systems across all asset classes. With offices in the US and Asia, they operate at the cutting edge of real‐time, high‐performance trading technology, enabling connectivity across multiple global exchanges.
They're now looking to hire UI Engineers to join a busy, collaborative development team working on mission‐critical trading applications used in fast‐moving financial markets.
You'll design and build modern, responsive user interfaces for real‐time web‐based trading systems, working closely with backend engineers to deliver intuitive solutions in a demanding environment.
- Designing and implementing UI components for high‐performance web applications
- Collaborating with backend developers to ensure technical feasibility and performance
- Supporting and enhancing existing trading platforms
- Contributing to development standards, UI architecture, and continuous improvement
- Managing multiple workstreams in a fast‐paced environment
Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong UI development and design experience
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, React, and TypeScript
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
- Experience or interest in real‐time or performance‐critical systems is a plus
