Responsible for: Leading, developing, and inspiring a team of Account Directors focused on delivering sustainable technology solutions and services to strategic customers worldwide.
Job Function
We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Sales Lead to oversee and inspire a team of solutions sales professionals focused on delivering sustainable technology solutions and services.
This role will drive revenue growth through the current Account team in the UK and ensure the successful execution of TXO's commercial strategy across key accounts.
The successful candidate will combine strong leadership capabilities with a proven record in consultative, solution-based sales, enabling their team to identify opportunities and create value-driven customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
The following outlines the primary areas of responsibility: -
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and support the development of a team of solutions salespeople to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Establish clear performance expectations, objectives, and development plans to support individual and team success.
- Conduct regular pipeline, forecast, and performance reviews, providing strategic guidance and sales coaching.
- Champion best practices in account management, solution selling, and customer engagement across the team.
- Working day to day with the UK based sales individuals to support their customer engagement, individual challenges, and direction, conducting regular 1:1s, check Ins and providing necessary support.
Revenue Growth & Strategic Sales
- Monitor sales performance metrics, providing coaching and feedback to ensure team effectiveness and growth.
- Execute the sales strategies to drive profitable growth across TXO's Solutions & Services portfolio through day-to-day sales management of individuals.
- Support Account Directors in identifying, qualifying, and pursuing complex opportunities within strategic accounts.
- Participating in high-level sales negotiations and presentations as required.
- Drive disciplined pipeline management and forecasting processes to ensure achievement of revenue and margin targets.
- Ensure Collaboration with internal stakeholders across sales, operations, procurement, technical, and service delivery teams to maximise customer value and commercial outcomes.
Customer & Market Engagement
- Ensure customer requirements are understood and aligned with TXO's solutions, services, and sustainability proposition.
- Be an ambassador for TXO, strengthening market presence and supporting business development initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends and competitive landscape, maintain a competitive edge.
Business Planning & Reporting
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts, business plans, and performance reports to senior leadership.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
About you
- Proven success in B2B solution sales, with a strong record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in complex sales environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams, ideally within telecommunications, technology, infrastructure, managed services, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of consultative selling methodologies, strategic account management, and enterprise sales cycles.
- Experience managing global enterprise or multinational customer relationships and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate customer challenges into value-based solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as HubSpot and sales performance reporting tools.
