Job Title: Data Architect (SC Cleared)

Our client is looking for an experienced Data Architect (SC Cleared) to deliver enterprise level data architecture across a modern data landscape. This role suits someone who is confident in data modelling, and comfortable engaging with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Strong background in enterprise data architecture, data domain modelling, and information architecture.
• Proficient in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling techniques.
• Experience defining canonical models, domain models, and analytical models.
• Good understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, and lineage.
• Ability to develop and communicate data strategies aligned to business objectives.

• Knowledge of data ownership, stewardship, and operating models.
• Designing architectures that meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements.

Key Experience:

• Proven experience in a Data Architect role.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of Azure.
• Active SC Clearance.

• Experience gathering and translating stakeholder requirements into architectural designs.
• Understanding of how data models translate into physical cloud implementations.
• Ability to build data strategy and modelling transition roadmaps.
• Experience creating architecture principles, standards, and models.
• Able to explain complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong documentation and design governance skills.
