We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to support a major client on a high-priority initiative. This is an urgent requirement, and we are looking to progress suitable candidates quickly.
Role Details
Title: Junior Project Manager
Locations: 3 positions in Northampton, 1 position in Knutsford
Duration: 6 months, with potential 6-month extension based on performance
Working Model: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week)
Key Requirements
Strong experience working within Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
Demonstrated change management capability
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder-engagement skills
Ability to support project planning, RAID management, reporting, and governance
Exposure to banking, financial services, or IT project environments
Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day delivery across multiple Agile workstreams
Assist in the creation and maintenance of project plans, reports, dashboards, and documentation
Manage and track RAID logs, escalating risks and issues where required
Coordinate meetings, prepare summaries/actions, and ensure follow-up is completed
Facilitate communication between delivery teams, stakeholders, and project leadership
Support change initiatives, helping teams adopt new processes, tools, and ways of working
Ensure adherence to project governance, timelines, and quality standards
Desirable Skills
Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile tooling
Understanding of project financials or resource forecasting
Knowledge of regulatory environments (particularly useful in financial services)
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Relevant certifications (e.g., Agile, Prince2, Scrum Master) - beneficial but not essential
