Platform Engineer

Inside IR35 contract - 500 -525 a day

2 x a month on site in Telford

6 Month + contract

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to support the development, deployment and operation of cloud-native applications and platforms within an AWS environment.

Key Responsibilities

Build, maintain and support Kubernetes-based platforms. Develop and manage Helm charts for application deployment and lifecycle management. Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab. Support the containerisation and deployment of applications. Work closely with engineering teams delivering Java-based microservices. Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and observability solutions. * Troubleshoot platform and deployment issues across multiple environments.

Essential Skills

Kubernetes Helm (strong commercial experience required) AWS GitLab CI/CD Pipelines Containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) Microservices architecture and deployment Observability, monitoring and logging Experience supporting engineering teams delivering Java applications

Desirable Skills

MongoDB Terraform * Public Sector or Government experience
