Scrum Master

Contract: Until April (End of Financial Year)Rate: Inside IR35 Location: London On-site: 2 days per week in London

We're looking for an experienced Scrum Master to help set up and drive delivery mechanisms for a complex, fast-moving programme within a Central Government Department. This is not a single-product role you'll work across multiple evolving workstreams, supporting transformation initiatives and projects that include AI-related elements.

You'll need to understand GDS principles and ways of working, ensuring agile delivery aligns with government standards, while operating in a dynamic environment.

• Establish delivery frameworks for a complex, rapidly developing programme.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and coach teams on best practices.
• Work across multiple workstreams rather than a single product.
• Support a growing team (approx. 12 FTE) in a fast-paced transformation environment.
• Contribute to AI-related projects and initiatives.

• Scrum Master experience: 4+ years in agile delivery roles.
• Complex programme delivery: Proven ability to set up delivery in large, evolving programmes.
• Transformation background: Experience in service transformation projects.
• Government experience: Familiarity with Central Government environments and GDS principles.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced setting.
• AI knowledge: Some exposure or understanding of AI projects.

• Experience in start-up or fast-moving cultures.
• Exposure to AI-related initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
