Location: Warwickshire - Hybrid/remote working options available - Must be UK based

Rate: £800.00 Per Day - Inside IR35 via Umbrella

Our leading financial services client in the Midlands is undergoing a Cloud migration process - lift and shift (rehosting) from On Prem to the Cloud.

A highly experienced and very technically focused Cloud Implementation Manager is required to create tool chains and guard rails and help them on the Cloud journey, acting as the interaction between the old world and influencing decision makers.

The ideal candidate will come from a Cloud/Azure architecture background and will have been on that Cloud journey, with a clear understanding of the technology - someone who can look at both ends and know why something's broken.

Deliverables -

  • 1: Implement cloud strategy
  • 2: Define and implement tool chains
  • 3: Define and implement guard rails
  • 4: Work with partners to deliver optimisation

Experience required -

  • Strong background (8-10 years+) in Cloud architecture and technical management roles
  • Essential Skills: Extensive Azure experience
  • Proven and recent Team leading/Management experience
  • Experience managing a Cloud migration process - lift and shift (rehosting) from On Prem to the Cloud
  • Proven experience in a Senior Azure Cloud focussed role (Lead/Manager/Head of)
  • Expert Azure knowledge - the ability to challenge architectural design effectively, collaborate with key stakeholders with a clear understanding of all the technologies
  • Experience in Cloud guardrails for Azure
  • Experience implementing cloud strategies
  • Experience defining and implementing tool chains
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments (Financial Services/Telco/Utilities)
  • Azure certifications desirable
