Lead AWS Platform Engineer

Rate: £450-£500 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: 3 months initially (likely extension after new financial year)
Location: Remote
Clearance: SC Cleared Required

We are seeking an experienced Lead AWS Platform Engineer to join a high-profile government project. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure and efficient delivery of services.

• Lead the development and maintenance of AWS-based platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting languages.
• Design and maintain production software delivery pipelines using CI/CD tools.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code for consistent and repeatable deployments.

• Strong experience with AWS cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Demonstrable experience in automation using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Hands-on experience with configuration tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
• Proven track record in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively and drive continuous learning and improvement.
