Microservices Engineer

We are currently seeking a Microservices Engineer for our public sector client to join the Operations team, ensuring the stability and continuous improvement of Enterprise Integration Services across diverse infrastructure platforms.

£500 per day | Inside IR35
Hybrid - 2 days per week in Telford (flexible: 2 days every 2 weeks for the right candidate)

Location: Telford (Hybrid)

Up to 12-15 months duration (regularly reviewed in 3 months rolling SOWs)

The ideal candidate will hold active SC clearance

What you'll bring:

5+ years solid Java experience
Proven expertise in Java Microservices, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot 2
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud solutions
Skilled in CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, Git Runner)
Strong interpersonal skills and team ethic
Agile experience (Scrum & Kanban)
Familiarity with TDD and Pair Programming
Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
