Microservices Engineer

We are currently seeking a Microservices Engineer for our public sector client to join the Operations team, ensuring the stability and continuous improvement of Enterprise Integration Services across diverse infrastructure platforms.

500 per day Inside IR35
Hybrid - 2 days per week in Telford (flexible: 2 days every 2 weeks for the right candidate)

Location: Telford (Hybrid)

Up to 12-15 months duration (regularly reviewed in 3 months rolling SOWs)

The ideal candidate will hold active SC clearance

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years solid Java experience
  • Proven expertise in Java Microservices, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot 2
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud solutions
  • Skilled in CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, Git Runner)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team ethic
  • Agile experience (Scrum & Kanban)
  • Familiarity with TDD and Pair Programming
  • Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
