Scala Development Lead

We are currently seeking a Scala Development Lead to work with our public sector client

6 months contract

Excellent day rate inside IR35

Location: Remote

The ideal candidates will have a proven Scala Development background within public sector holding active SC clearance

Skills:

• Experience of architecting or implementing Microservices on AWS.
• It is optionally advantageous to have any experience of TOGAF, Java, Containers/ Kubernetes, COBOL
  • Develop and maintain high-quality Scala applications, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test new features.
  • Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
    • Proven experience in Scala development and a strong understanding of functional programming principles.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
