Senior Business Analyst

Overview
We are looking for a strong, client-facing Business Analyst to support delivery on a major public sector programme. This role will involve working closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams to shape, define and manage requirements across complex systems and transformation work. This is a hands-on role where the BA will be expected to drive clarity, engage stakeholders and support delivery end-to-end rather than just document requirements.
Responsibilities
Engage stakeholders to understand business needs
Gather and document business and functional requirements
Translate requirements into user stories and process flows
Work closely with technical teams to ensure delivery aligns with requirements
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions
Support testing through definition of acceptance criteria
Bring structure to complex or ambiguous environments
Experience Required
Strong Business Analyst experience
Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience
Experience working in complex multi-system environments
Proven ability to gather and define requirements
Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments

Experience Preference

Wider UK public sector experience
Candidates without public sector experience will be considered if they have worked in highly complex enterprise or regulated environments
Experience in legacy to cloud or modernisation programmes
Exposure to APIs, integrations and data flows
Experience working alongside engineering teams such as Java or cloud environments
