Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer (Active SC)

£650-£675/day Inside IR35 | 6 Months | Predominantly Remote

We are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join a large-scale content transformation programme. This role goes beyond development, requiring someone who can lead technical discovery, solve complex business challenges and help shape scalable solutions from the ground up.

Key Skills:

• Strong Ruby on Rails experience
• AWS expertise
• CI/CD and deployment automation
• Solution design and technical discovery
• Stakeholder engagement and collaboration

What You'll Do:

• Lead technical problem solving and discovery activities
• Design and build scalable Ruby on Rails services
• Contribute to architecture and technical strategy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Support delivery within a complex digital environment

We're Looking For:

• Senior Software Engineers, Technical Leads or Lead Ruby Engineers
• Experience delivering production systems at scale
• Strong ownership mindset and technical judgement
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and defining solutions
