SCRUM Master (SFIA 5)Pay rate: £575-£600 inside IR35Employment type: ContractLocation: Telford - Ideally 2 x per week (will be negotiable but not much)Clearance Level: SC EligibleOverview:We're looking for an experienced SFIA Level 5 Scrum Master with a background in software development and testing. This role requires a delivery-focused Scrum Master who understands the end-to-end delivery life cycle and can apply agile pragmatically to ensure work is delivered successfully. Ideally we are looking for somebody that has delivered across heavy development projects matching the HMRC Environment ( Java preferred , AWS, Kubernetes etc)This is not a purely facilitative role; the successful candidate will bring a technical lens to delivery, enabling them to identify risks early, challenge constructively, and adapt ways of working to keep delivery on track.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as Scrum Master across multiple engineering delivery teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremoniesDrive delivery outcomes while applying agile principles pragmaticallyIdentify and remove delivery impediments, risks, and dependenciesUse technical experience to assess delivery health, quality, and readinessWork closely with Developers, Testers, Product Owners, and Delivery LeadsProvide clear delivery updates to stakeholders and align with governance requirementsRequired ExperienceProven experience as a Scrum Master operating at SFIA Level 5Prior hands-on experience in software development and TestingStrong understanding of agile delivery frameworks and delivery lifecyclesExperience in complex, multi-team environmentsConfident communicator able to challenge and influence stakeholdersDesirableExperience in government or regulated environmentsAgile / Scrum certification (PSM, CSM, SAFe)Awareness of DevOps and modern testing practicesTPBN1_UKTJ
