We're looking for a hghly accomplished Test Lead/Manager on a full time basis to work with TXP and our leading financial services client in the West Midlands to deliver business commitments.

Role:

  • To work with the Head of Delivery & Assurance to expand the testing capability and support client engagements with respect of test capability and maturity, test management and test delivery
  • Develop Test Management as a service that can be delivered to clients and provide the required governance and frameworks that supports this across our core testing services
  • Mentoring of internal and external staff where required in respect of testing best practice
  • Engage with clients to define and structure the appropriate approach to testing, be that at an organisational or project level
  • Lead testing best practice across engagements with clients and where required define the appropriate test approach to support project deliveries
  • Lead initial engagements with clients to understand current testing approach and maturity
  • Work with the Head of Delivery & Assurance to deliver test capability assessment into clients and identify opportunities to grow engagement with the client from a testing perspective
  • Able to work within several development approaches - Waterfall, Agile

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Signficant and recent E2E Test Management experience
  • Experience in and knowledge of delivering industry standard test practices, their implementation and management
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Experience of working with clients to develop testing practices and ensure effective delivery for projects
  • Experience in and knowledge of techniques, tools and technologies associated with the development of automated test suites
  • Ability to assess current test maturity and capability within an organisation and make recommendations for improvement
  • Ability to provide quality metrics and KPI's which measure the effectiveness of testing and its delivery for client engagements
  • Experience of Scrum-based approaches, Sprint planning and rituals
