Manager - Procurement Value Creation & Savings Delivery
Salary: c. £80,000 – £95,000 + bonus/package
Location: London / hybrid, with client travel as required
A growing procurement and supply chain consulting practice is looking for a Manager to lead client-facing cost reduction and value creation programmes. This is a role for someone who has genuinely managed savings delivery projects - not just designed strategy, supported digital/P2P transformation, or operated in a narrow category niche.
You will be joining a high-performing consultancy environment where procurement is focused on measurable client impact, senior stakeholder influence and practical delivery of commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement cost improvement programmes, from opportunity identification through to realised savings delivery.
- Manage senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor across complex procurement and value creation engagements.
- Oversee sourcing activity and supplier negotiations across broad indirect categories, ensuring recommendations convert into tangible commercial outcomes.
- Lead and coach project teams, providing structure, direction and quality control across client delivery.
- Contribute to practice growth, supporting proposals, methodology development and the continued growth of the UK procurement team.
Key skills and experience:
- 5+ years’ procurement consulting experience within a recognised consultancy environment.
- Clear evidence of managing savings delivery projects, with ownership of cost-out, value creation or benefits realisation workstreams.
- Broad indirect procurement experience, ideally across multiple categories rather than a narrow specialist area.
- Strong client-facing capability, with confidence managing senior stakeholders in high-pressure, complex environments.
- Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to turn data, supplier insight and sourcing activity into measurable value.
