AV / IT Sales Project Manager

Talent Guardian are working with a leading international conference and events venue in the search for an AV/IT & Sales Project Manager to join the technical operations team and play a key role in the successful production and delivery of live events.The successful candidate will manage the full technical and IT production process, ensuring smooth coordination of AV services and maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.You will work closely with event managers and clients to deliver exceptional technical solutions for conferences, meetings, exhibitions, and corporate events.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the AV and IT production elements of multiple live events.
  • Manage technical project delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Collaborate with clients, event managers, and technical teams to meet creative and operational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with current health and safety standards and industry legislation.
  • Support business development and sales teams by providing technical expertise during client proposals and pitches.
  • Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings and technical documentation for event setups.
  • Oversee installation, operation, and de-rig of AV, lighting, and IT systems.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure technical quality aligns with brand standards.
  • Contribute to departmental growth by identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
About You
  • Proven background in corporate live events, with strong technical experience across AV, lighting, and IT systems.
  • Competent working knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple events concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety compliance in live event environments.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and technical delivery teams.
